Tired and Hungry

Lina: Where are we going?
Mommy: To get some dinner.
Lina: Some dinner?
Mommy: Yep.  At the Pasta House.
Lina: The Pasta House?!
Mommy: Uh-huh.
Lina: Well… I don’t want to go to dinner.
Mommy: You don’t want noodles?
Lina: Oh, yeah, I want noodles.
Mommy: I thought so.  That’s why we are going to Pasta House, to eat noodles!
Lina: Mommy, where are we going?
Mommy: Lina.  Remember how we talked earlier about asking me the same question over and over?
Lina: Yeah.
Mommy: We’re going to dinner so you can eat noodles.  And bread.
Lina: I don’t want to go to dinner anymore.
Mommy: Are you too tired to eat dinner?  It’s okay if you are, we can go home instead.
Lina: Yeah, I’m too tired.
Mommy: Okay, I’ll just call Mimi and Jessie and let them know we are going home.
Lina: Okay.  Mommy, I’m hungry.
Mommy: Do you want to go to Pasta House?
Lina: Yeah.
Mommy: Okay.
Lina: I don’t think we should be talking about this.
Mommy: You don’t think we should be talking about being tired and hungry?
Lina: Yeah.
Mommy: Why not?
Lina: I just don’t want to talk about it!
Mommy: Okay.  What do you want to talk about?
Lina: I just don’t want to talk about anything!
Mommy: Okay.  You want to sing?
Lina: Yes.
